State/IFR - First-Year Global Experience - Summer, Fall, Academic Year Programs

The First-Year Global Experience Scholarship is awarded to University at Buffalo first-year students who plan to participate in the First-Year Global Experience Program. Based on available funds, a limited number of partial scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis to assist students with the costs of this special first-year student program. Preference will be given to first-time study abroad participants, students with documented financial need, and students with a demonstrated interest in the goals of the First-Year Global Experience and the ability to articulate how this program will benefit them in the future. This scholarship supports first-year students in gaining international experience through the university's global education programs.
