Statsbidrag för distansundervisning 2026

This state grant supports distance education for Swedish students residing abroad in grades 6-9 of grundskolan (compulsory school) and gymnasieskolan (upper secondary school). The grant enables Swedish citizens' children living overseas to complete their studies through distance learning provided by Sofia distans (for grundskolan) and Hermods AB (for gymnasieskolan). The Swedish state provides this support to enable Swedish families with school-age children to be recruited for work assignments in other countries while maintaining connection to the Swedish school system. The grant covers study materials, tutoring, and other costs for distance education of Swedish students abroad.
