This state grant aims to increase student influence in schools in Sweden. The grant also supports measures to strengthen students' local organizations. Eligible organizations are student organizations that primarily consist of students within the school system and work to increase student influence. The grant can be used for support to local student organizations, salary costs, educational materials, technical equipment, premises costs, educational initiatives, travel, and other costs. Organizations must have at least 60% student members, operate a nationwide activity with multiple local or regional associations, conduct non-profit activities, and respect democratic values. The grant is distributed based on a fixed base grant plus variable components based on the number of qualifying members and local organizations.
