This state grant is provided for complementary Swedish education to principals of Swedish international schools or complementary Swedish education programs. The grant supports Swedish language instruction for Swedish children and youth living abroad. For principals of Swedish international schools, the grant serves as general financial support for school operations. For principals of complementary Swedish education programs, the grant covers costs for teacher salaries and acceptable teaching materials for students. The grant is calculated based on the number of students participating in the instruction on October 15, 2025, with a minimum requirement of one student for Swedish international schools and five students for complementary Swedish education programs.
