About This Opportunity

This state grant supports teaching during school holidays for students in Sweden who have not met or are at risk of not meeting the criteria for assessment of knowledge or grade criteria for grade E. The funding is specifically for voluntarily organized holiday schools (lovskola) during winter break, sports break, Easter break, summer break, and autumn break in 2026. The grant provides up to 300 SEK per student per day to cover costs including teacher salaries, other staff costs, premises, technical equipment, teaching materials, meals, and travel expenses related to student participation. Municipal, independent, and state school organizers for primary school, Sami school, special school, and upper secondary school are eligible to apply.
