Statsbidrag för omsorg på kvällar, nätter och helger 2026

This state grant is designed to enable municipalities in Sweden to offer more childcare during evenings, nights, and weekends. The grant supports both existing and new childcare services that operate outside the regular hours when preschools and after-school centers are closed. Municipalities must offer care for at least 30 hours per child per month. The childcare program covers children from one year of age through the spring term of the year they turn 13 years old. The grant aims to ensure that families with non-traditional work schedules have access to quality childcare services during evenings, nights, and weekends.
