About This Opportunity

This state grant supports personnel costs for school staff in school social teams in primary and secondary education in Sweden. School social teams are groups of professionals from schools and social services who collaborate to promote safety, study peace, and increase student attendance. The grant aims to give social services opportunities to work preventively and build trust at an early stage. The grant covers staff costs for school personnel, while a separate grant from Socialstyrelsen covers costs for social service personnel. Each school social team must consist of at least two full-time equivalents: at least one from social services (with social work degree or equivalent) and at least one from school staff (with relevant education in psychosocial work). Funding is available for half of the school personnel costs, and employment or assignments must last at least six months.
