Statsbidrag för säkerhetshöjande åtgärder 2026

This state grant from the Swedish National Agency for Education (Skolverket) supports school authorities in security work for crime prevention purposes. The grant is intended for costs related to security-enhancing measures within the school system. Security-enhancing measures include physical and technical measures aimed at increasing safety and preventing crime at preschool and school units, such as installing access control systems, protective barriers, or expanded camera surveillance in schools. The grant can also be used for other types of measures as long as the purpose is to increase security and prevent crime. The grant can be used to cover costs already incurred or expected to be incurred during the grant year 2026 (January 1 – December 31, 2026). A total of 300 million SEK is available for distribution in 2026. All eligible school authorities receive a contribution limit proportionally based on the number of children and students they have in relation to the total number of children and students across all school authorities. No contribution limit shall be less than 30,000 SEK.
