Statsbidrag för stärkt kunskapsutveckling 2026

This Swedish state grant aims to strengthen knowledge development for students in preschool class, primary school, and leisure-time centers. The grant provides school providers (municipalities and independent schools) with significant freedom to determine both the area of use and how it should be distributed within their organization. The grant is intended for enhanced initiatives based on science and proven experience to strengthen educational quality so that all students can reach as far as possible in their knowledge development. Initiatives must be additional to what is already required by law. The grant can be used for long-term development work to strengthen knowledge development for students during the period January 1 to December 31, 2026. Eligible uses include hiring personnel, health promotion work, preventive safety work, student health services, special educational support, and competence and leadership development.
