About This Opportunity

This grant program aims to support children's and youth's independent organizing and influence in society. The grant supports two types of projects: (1) projects to support children's and youth's independent organizing and influence in society at the local level, and (2) organizations that want to develop to eventually meet the requirements to be granted organizational grants for children and youth organizations. Projects must be rooted in children and young people from the start, with them having a leading role throughout. For local organizing projects, the grant can be used for conference, meeting, and printing costs but not for regular administrative costs. Organizations developing toward organizational grant eligibility can use the grant for salary and administrative costs to strengthen and develop the organization. Projects can last up to one year and continuation projects can be applied for up to three years total.
