Steele's Crossing Award

The Steele's Crossing Award is presented to undergraduate students in the Faculty of Science at the University of Alberta who are active members of the Golden Bears or Pandas swimming teams. Eligible students must maintain satisfactory academic standing and must have competed in the Canada West Championship (or equivalent competition) in both of the past two years. This award recognizes student-athletes who demonstrate excellence both in their academic pursuits and in competitive swimming. If no suitable candidate is found in the Faculty of Science, the award may be given to students in the Faculty of Graduate Studies (with a focus in Science), Faculty of Engineering, or Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences or Nursing, in that priority order, provided all other eligibility criteria are met.
