Stella Dick Scholarship for Mature Students

The Stella Dick Scholarship for Mature Students offers 2 scholarships of £5,000 per year, which will be paid towards maintenance costs during your studies. Stella Dick generously left a legacy to support a scholarship for mature students entering Higher Education. Stella was a mature student herself who launched a highly successful career in education from this point. She had a passionate belief in the transformative power of education and wished to pass this on to future generations. The scholarship is designed for mature students (aged 21 or over at the start of their studies) who have not had the opportunity to attend Higher Education within the last 5 years due to work, family or educational commitments. Eligible candidates must not hold any prior undergraduate or postgraduate degree qualification (Foundation degrees or other lower level qualifications are acceptable). Applicants must be UK residents with a home address in either Kent or Sussex at time of application and meet income assessment criteria with household income of less than £42,875.
