About This Opportunity

This scholarship provides support to postgraduate research students who are spending a period of study in Greece or Cyprus. The scholarship is designed to assist students enrolled in master's by research or PhD programs within the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Sydney who are conducting research in archaeology, classical Greek, modern Greek, or ancient history. Recipients must be traveling to Greece or Cyprus to visit an archaeological site, attend an overseas university offering exchange programs in these subject areas, or conduct research in a relevant area of study as part of their degree program. The scholarship was established through a donation by the late Ms Stella Kalitsounaki Vaughan to support students pursuing studies related to Greek culture, history, and archaeology.
