Stephan M. Horak Memorial Scholarship

The Stephan M. Horak Memorial Scholarship is awarded to students at Eastern Illinois University who have demonstrated academic excellence in European History. This scholarship recognizes students who have completed at least 3 semester hours in European History with a grade of B or better, while maintaining strong overall academic performance. Recipients must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and a minimum GPA of 3.25 in their major. The scholarship emphasizes the selection of students who show future scholarly potential in their field of study. Recipients may apply for the award again in subsequent years provided they continue to meet the established criteria. The award is announced in the Spring semester and paid during the Spring term.
