Steve and Therese Peto Memorial Award

The Steve and Therese Peto Memorial Award is an annual scholarship established through endowed funds by Peter Peto in memory of his parents, Steve and Therese. This award is available to students in the Faculty of Science at the University of Alberta who demonstrate satisfactory academic standing and are entering their second, third, or fourth year of studies in Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, with a specialization in Geology. Recipients are selected based on their academic performance, and students are automatically considered through the completion of the University's General Application process. This continuing award provides valuable financial support to geology students as they progress through their undergraduate studies.
