Steven and Elizabeth Young Family Scholarship for Community College Transfer Students

This scholarship provides financial support for non-NIU charges such as rent, transportation, childcare, food, and other expenses for newly admitted undergraduate Illinois community college transfer students in the College of Business at Northern Illinois University. Applicants must have completed (or be on track to complete before transferring) an AA/AS degree or have satisfied the College of Business fundamentals coursework. The scholarship aims to assist transfer students in covering living expenses and enable them to complete their degree at NIU. The award amount is $6,000.00 and is specifically designed to help community college transfer students who have worked to pay for their education.
