Stipendium för fackliga studiebesök utomlands

Sveriges Lärare offers a scholarship for union-related study visits abroad for all members. The scholarship aims to help members broaden and deepen their international perspective by studying union work with professional issues or other union activities in other countries. Recipients must have an invitation or contact person from a teacher organization affiliated with Education International in the destination country. The scholarship is awarded twice per year (deadlines October 30 and March 31) and cannot cover the entire cost of the trip, requiring applicants to make their own financial contribution. Past study visit themes have included women's and girls' situations as students and teachers in India, union-organized teacher training in Chile, and conditions for union work in Germany, Norway, and the Faroe Islands.
