Gålöstiftelsen offers travel scholarships for short-term international academic activities including research exchanges, fieldwork, workshops, and conferences. The scholarship is designed to support independent theoretical or practical studies primarily abroad. Applicants must have exceptional personal qualifications and their studies must be of significant general interest. The program is primarily intended for doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers, though master's students may be supported depending on available resources. Applications are accepted throughout the year with three annual deadlines. The scholarship aims to enable recipients to develop their knowledge, expand their professional networks, and present their research to international colleagues.
