Stipends for Sabbatical Leave

Lundbeck Foundation Original Source

About This Opportunity

The purpose of this call is to support long-term research visits abroad for Danish-based senior researchers in clinical, translational and basic biomedical sciences with a focus on neuroscience or disciplines supporting neuroscience. The aim of the stipends is to ensure that research leaders are able to focus fully on their research during a continuous period of secondment at an international research institution. The Lundbeck Foundation's ambition is to make Denmark leading in neuroscience research by funding relevant biomedical, health, clinical and other sciences in Denmark. The goal is to foster world-class research at Danish universities and Danish university hospitals. International collaboration is one of the best ways to elevate the Danish research environment and strengthen the career path of the researchers involved. The sabbatical must strengthen the applicant and their Danish research group's or department's research activities. The entire grant must be managed by a Danish non-commercial research institution.
