Stockholms stads kulturstipendium

Stockholms stads kulturstipendium is an annual cultural scholarship awarded by Stockholm's Culture Committee to 20 individuals working within various art forms in Stockholm. The scholarship of 40,000 SEK supports artists who have made significant contributions to Stockholm's cultural life during the past year. Eligible applicants must be registered residents of Stockholm municipality, have been active in Stockholm during the past year, and work within specified artistic disciplines including visual art, crafts, photography, illustration, film, music, dance, theater, musical drama, or literature. Artists must either have formal education in their artistic profession or documented experience. The scholarship cannot be awarded to the same individual more than once every three years. The application period typically opens in mid-December and closes in early February, with decisions announced in spring.
