About this opportunity
The Milton Keynes Community Foundation's Strategic Partnership Grants support organisations at the heart of Milton Keynes' community infrastructure that address the city's most complex issues. These grants are designed for organisations with deep local knowledge that operate at scale and demonstrate long-term thinking. The grants are ad hoc, bespoke, and collaborative, designed to build resilience, support forward planning, and create opportunities for shared learning and joint ambition.
Each year, Strategic Partnership Grants focus on key themes highlighted by the Vital Signs report. Current priority areas include Violence Against Women and Girls, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI), Arts & Heritage, Serious Youth Crime Prevention through the MK Together Fund, and areas supported by the Margaret Powell Fund including supporting older people living with frailty, working with disabled people of all ages, fostering integration and social connection, and supporting people experiencing mental health challenges.
The application process begins with an expression of interest rather than a formal application. Organizations email a short summary of their project and why they believe a Strategic Partnership could be the right fit. The Foundation reviews all expressions of interest and outlines next steps and the application process to suitable candidates.
