STRIDE Student Trainer Scholarship

The STRIDE Student Trainer Scholarship is an annual award provided by STRIDE Physiotherapy and Wellness to recognize outstanding student trainers at Red Deer Polytechnic. This is a nominated scholarship where recipients are selected and notified by the Red Deer Polytechnic Athletics Department in early Spring. The scholarship provides $1,000 to one student trainer who has demonstrated strong commitment and dedication to their role supporting Red Deer Polytechnic Athletic Teams. Preference is given to students enrolled in the School of Community, Wellness and Health, and to student trainers of the Red Deer Polytechnic Queens Basketball Team. Eligible students must be enrolled full-time with a minimum GPA of 2.0 and serve as an active student trainer. The selection criteria emphasize the recipient's commitment and dedication to the athletic training program, as evidenced by a reference from their head coach.
