About this opportunity
This Regional Fund program aims to strengthen skills and competence development in Western Sweden's business sector. The call seeks projects that promote lifelong learning, skills development, and competence supply in small and medium-sized enterprises through collaboration between actors and organizations aligned with regional strategies for smart specialization. The goal is to help SMEs become more sustainable, innovative, and competitive within the prioritized areas of smart specialization in Western Sweden. Projects should address strategic competence supply needs, build structures for skills development, and leverage social sustainability as a driver for sustainable development. All initiatives must relate to one or more of Western Sweden's smart specialization areas including intelligent and sustainable industry, life science and information-driven healthcare, sustainable materials and energy systems, future transport and mobility, creative business and production development, and food tech and maritime development.
