This EU Regional Fund opportunity supports actors within Stockholm region's business promotion system to strengthen the international competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The funding aims to enhance business development, growth, and internationalization through projects that develop new markets, strengthen food security through local production, and promote innovation in cybersecurity and defense technology. Projects must contribute to Stockholm region's smart specialization areas including life science, ICT and digitalization, industrial transformation through sustainable production, and climate and environmental initiatives for sustainable urban development. The program prioritizes advanced support services to SMEs and support to organizations to develop their operations, services, or processes. Activities can include direct support to companies or development of support structures that indirectly benefit businesses.
