About this opportunity
This grant program supports small boat harbors and boat associations in Oslo to reduce the spread of microplastics and environmental toxins to the Oslo fjord. The program provides financial support for investments in solutions that stop the spread of plastic, microplastics and environmental toxins from maintenance of recreational boats, waste management and harbor operations. The total funding pool is 1,500,000 NOK. Recipients can apply for coverage of up to 100 percent of costs related to time-limited projects, including work, solutions and installations to remove or prevent the spread of plastic, microplastics and environmental toxins. This includes cleanup projects, information work, replacement of styrofoam dock elements, and other measures. The projects must be implemented within Oslo municipality boundaries and completed within one year of receiving the grant approval letter.
