About this opportunity

Agder fylkeskommune provides funding support to employers in Agder who hire young people for summer jobs in 2026. The program aims to address the issue of young people between 16 and 20 years old who are outside education/school and working life, which is wasteful for society and unsatisfying for the young person. Employers can receive grants of up to 25,000 kroner per young person, with a maximum of 5 young people per business. The total funding pool is 5 million kroner, supporting 200 young people. The program prioritizes young people with reduced work capacity and/or those outside school/education and/or working life. The support is designed to be catalytic, meaning businesses must hire additional youth beyond those they originally planned to offer summer jobs. Municipalities, public organizations, private companies, and non-profit organizations with a business address in Agder can apply. Individual persons and sole proprietorships cannot apply.
