About this opportunity

The Student Engineers' Council Scholarship was created in 2020 as a way of providing a yearly scholarship of $10,000 ($5,000 a semester) to Pell Grant-eligible students in the College of Engineering. The scholarship provides a rising sophomore with a scholarship for their following three years of undergraduate studies at Virginia Tech. The program aims to award a passionate and well-rounded student who has excelled at Virginia Tech, in organizations, and the workforce. Recipients must be Pell Grant eligible as determined by FAFSA, have a 3.3 or higher overall GPA, be a first year student at the time of application, and may only apply for this scholarship once in their academic career.
