About this opportunity
The Student Success Scholarship is designed to help students succeed at Sheffield Hallam University. It provides financial support to home fee status students enrolled in undergraduate, PGCE, or integrated masters courses. Successful applicants receive awards ranging from £600 to £2,100, with most students receiving awards from the lower end of this scale. Only students who are in several priority groups will be considered for the highest amount. Part-time students receive a proportional award. The scholarship is available once per academic year and requires reapplication each year. Eligibility is determined based on household income (£62,377 or less) and priority group membership, including care leavers, estranged students, students with caring responsibilities, refugees, transgender students, student parents, students with disabilities, final year students, students from minority ethnic backgrounds, and students studying high-cost or high-intensity courses. Applicants must be fully enrolled, have home fee status, be paying 2025/26 tuition fees, and have been means tested by a UK student funding body with consent to share household income with the university.
