Students' Association Award for Student Leadership

Established in 2008, the Students' Association Award for Student Leadership is available to full-time students at Lakeland College's Vermilion and Lloydminster campuses. One award is granted to each campus to recognize students who have demonstrated outstanding dedication and leadership to fellow students, the college, and/or the community. The award recognizes academic achievement, positive attitude, role modeling, initiative, and respect among peers. Recipients must display commitment to one or more areas including student government, student clubs, societies, or organizations. Consideration is given for active involvement in student organizations at the provincial or national level or in non-profit community organizations. This continuing leadership scholarship provides financial support to students who exemplify exceptional leadership qualities within the college and broader community.
