Students' Association Bursary

This scholarship was established through generous donations from Alumni and friends during the University's 600th Anniversary Celebrations. The scholarship forms part of the Wardlaw Scholarship scheme, established in 2004 to provide financial assistance to academically gifted students who would otherwise struggle with the cost of studying at the University of St Andrews. The award provides £500 per year paid as maintenance but can be used towards University accommodation fees. Maintenance is paid in ten monthly instalments directly to the student's bank account from September to May, with a double payment in February. Selection is based on financial need and donor-specific criteria. The award is paid annually for the duration of the student's undergraduate programme and is conditional upon successful completion of academic requirements to progress in the student's proposed subject of study.
