About this opportunity
The Students' Association - Queens Curling Award is a nominated scholarship provided to a member of the Red Deer Polytechnic Queens Curling Team. This award recognizes student athletes who demonstrate exceptional value to their team and meet the eligibility requirements of both the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) and the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA). The recipient is selected by the coach based on their contribution and asset to the team.
This is a nomination-based award, meaning students do not apply directly. Instead, recipients are identified and notified by the Red Deer Polytechnic Athletics Department throughout the academic year. The award amount is $750 and is funded by the Students' Association of Red Deer Polytechnic.
Eligible students must be active members of the Queens Curling Team and maintain compliance with ACAC and CCAA eligibility standards. The award acknowledges the dedication and athletic excellence of student athletes who contribute significantly to their team's success.
