Styrking og utvikling av helsestasjons- og skolehelsetjenesten

This grant program supports the strengthening and development of health station and school health services in Norwegian municipalities. In the 2026 state budget, this grant scheme has been proposed to be merged into a new cross-sectoral grant scheme for preventive measures for children and youth. Currently, only applications for transfer of unused grants from previous allocations are being accepted through this program. The new cross-sectoral grant program, administered by Bufdir (Norwegian Directorate for Children, Youth and Family Affairs), provides 519 million NOK in funding to strengthen municipalities' work to ensure good conditions for children and youth and prevent them from falling outside society. Funds from the new scheme can be used for measures within statutory services, including positions and other initiatives in health station and school health services, kindergartens, schools, NAV and child welfare services.
