Succulent Society Scholarship

The Sarasota Succulent Society, Inc. offers two scholarships of $1,000 each to support students pursuing education in botanical, horticultural, or related disciplines. The two scholarships available are The Phyllis Turner Environmental Scholarship and The Succulent Society Scholarship. Applicants submit a single application without specifying which scholarship they prefer, and the Society matches winning applicants with the appropriate scholarship. This program is designed to support both college students and graduating high school students who are focused on careers in botany and related fields. Applicants must demonstrate their commitment to botanical studies through their college and career goals, personal and extra-curricular activities in botany-related areas, and valuable knowledge or experience gained from botany-related work. The scholarship requires written responses to three questions, letters of recommendation, and academic transcripts.
