Sue Muller Placement Scholarship

The Sue Muller Placement Scholarship was established in 2019 to provide financial assistance to Pharmacy students undertaking regional placements at the University of Sydney. This scholarship is funded by a donation from Ms Susan Muller and aims to support students who must travel significant distances from their place of residence to attend placement sites. The scholarship provides two levels of support based on distance traveled: $300 AUD for placement sites located 100-200km from the student's residence, and $800 AUD for placement sites located more than 200km from their residence. Recipients must be in their final year of study and complete a 70-hour placement at an eligible regional site. The program encourages pharmacy students to gain valuable experience in rural, regional, and remote areas, helping them understand the unique aspects of pharmacy practice in these communities.
