About this opportunity
Grants of between £2,500 and £20,000 are available for services that reduce crime and disorder and support victims of crime. The fund is looking for strong applications that demonstrate delivery on key areas of the Police and Crime Plan, specifically commissioning services which support victims of crime and investing in initiatives which reduce crime, disorder, offending and prevent victimisation. Applications must address objectives within the Police and Crime Plan, clearly identify gaps in service provision, and use data and evidence from previous work. Written evidence of agreed referral pathways must be provided with applications. The fund targets adult offenders, children and young people (offenders, at risk of offending and exploitation), communities at risk of or affected by crime, and victims of crime (excluding domestic abuse and sexual violence). All applications must show impact against outcomes such as improved confidence and safety, increased education and employability, reduced offending and violence, or improved mental health. Match funding will enhance the chance of success, especially where partnership working is evidenced.
