Summer 26 Unpaid Internship Scholarship for Rising Seniors

This scholarship supports rising seniors at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in pursuing unpaid summer internships during Summer 2026. The internship must be related to the student's career area of interest, major, or life goals. The program provides financial support to help offset the opportunity cost of accepting an unpaid position that will provide valuable career experience. To be eligible, students must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 and demonstrate financial need. All students are welcome to apply, and those not initially accepted may reapply. Applicants must submit an essay describing their internship responsibilities, learning objectives, and how the internship connects to their major and future career goals, along with an unofficial transcript.
