About this opportunity
The Summer Hardship Fund is a means-tested hardship fund available to all students currently enrolled on any undergraduate, graduate diploma or postgraduate course at University of the Arts London. It is not a loan and does not need to be repaid. Support is available to assist with living costs during the summer period. The Fund prioritizes students with caring responsibilities, care leavers, students with disabilities and chronic medical conditions, students estranged from both parents, those with significant debts, victims of fraud, and those experiencing exceptional unexpected circumstances such as bereavement or loss of earnings. Awards are based on eligibility for priority groups and are capped at a maximum of two priority groups. All home undergraduate students must have a student finance assessment showing household income below £55,000, and international and postgraduate students must demonstrate household income below this threshold. The award is for maintenance only and cannot be used for tuition fees.
