About This Opportunity

The NIH Summer Internship Program (SIP) provides an opportunity for students to spend a summer working at the National Institutes of Health alongside some of the leading scientists in the world. This program is designed to expose students to biomedical research in a world-class research environment. Interns are placed in NIH research laboratories where they work on an independent research project under the guidance of a mentor.
