About this opportunity
The Suncoast Credit Union Foundation, in partnership with the Education Foundation of Sarasota County, offers two $3,000 scholarship awards to high school graduates in the Class of 2026. This scholarship is part of a $216,000 investment in scholarships by the Tampa-based credit union's Foundation, supporting students in Suncoast Credit Union's 25-county service territory. Students must be Sarasota County high school seniors attending traditional public schools, charter schools, or participating in home school or distance learning options sanctioned by the Sarasota County School District. The scholarship supports students planning to enroll in accredited 4-year colleges/universities, 2-year colleges, or technical schools in Florida, beginning their post-secondary education in the 2026-2027 academic year. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and use scholarship funds for tuition, fees, books, supplies, equipment, and other direct course-related expenses. Recipients will be notified by April, and scholarship checks are mailed directly to the educational institution. Students do not need to be Suncoast Credit Union members to apply, and applications must be submitted online.
