Suncor Energy Emerging Leaders Awards

The Suncor Energy Emerging Leaders Awards are available to students entering the first year of specified engineering and technology programs at NAIT. The scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic achievement in high school or upgrading courses, demonstrated leadership skills, and contribution to the community. Preference may be given to students who have graduated from a high school that is at least 100 kilometers from a major metropolitan center, and/or who are of aboriginal ancestry. The selected recipients will receive an additional $2,500 upon successfully entering year two, bringing the total award to $5,000. Scholarship recipients may also be offered summer employment with Suncor Energy, providing valuable work experience in the energy sector.
