Sundance "Second Time Around" Award

This award is given in memory of "Sundance", to a fourth year student who is in a second career, has demonstrated academic achievement, and who exemplifies the humble, conscientious, and caring attitude associated with our best clinicians. The award is intended for veterinary medicine students at Virginia Tech who are pursuing their Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree. It recognizes students who have transitioned from a previous career into veterinary medicine and have shown outstanding academic performance and clinical qualities. The scholarship honors the memory of Sundance and supports students who demonstrate the compassionate, conscientious, and humble characteristics essential to excellent veterinary care.
