About this opportunity
Awarded to students who identify as women and are First Nation, Inuit, or Métis people of Canada in accordance with the Constitution Act, 1982, Part 2, Section 35(2) with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in any year of a combined degree in a Bachelor of Science in Environmental & Conservation Sciences and Bachelor of Arts in Native Studies. Selection based on academic standing and indicated financial need.
If no eligible students are found, the award may be given to students who identify as women and are First Nation, Inuit, or Métis people of Canada with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in any year of an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Native Studies or the College of Natural and Applied Sciences (Faculties of Science, Engineering, and Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences).
This is an endowed award funded by Prakash Mullick at the University of Alberta. Students are automatically considered based on their completed General Application and do not need to apply separately.
