Surprise Sundancers Scholarship

The Surprise Sundancers Scholarship provides financial support to graduating or graduated high school students who are student athletes from specific cities in Arizona including Surprise, El Mirage, Youngtown, Waddell, Buckeye, or Wickenburg. The scholarship is designed to assist students who have participated in a sponsored athletic-related program during their high school career. Applicants must demonstrate academic achievement with a minimum 3.0 GPA and provide evidence of participation in a high school-sponsored athletic program. Preference is given to new and previous recipients of the Surprise Sundancers Scholarship. The program is merit-based and requires community service involvement. The scholarship is renewable, contingent upon maintaining a 3.0 GPA and full-time student status. Highest scoring students may be eligible for the Mark Coronado Scholarship, which provides a higher stipend level. The scholarship supports undergraduate education and aims to recognize student athletes who have demonstrated both academic achievement and athletic commitment. This opportunity is administered through the Arizona Community Foundation and is part of their broader scholarship program supporting students throughout Arizona.
