Susan E Williams Scholarship

The Susan E Williams Scholarship is designed to support women studying STEM bachelor programs at RMIT University who can demonstrate circumstances impacting their study. Named after Susan E Williams, a scientist who transitioned from medical research to government work and later earned her MBA from RMIT, this scholarship honors her legacy of resilience and achievement. The scholarship provides financial support of up to $30,000 over three years to help women overcome barriers to education in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields. Applicants must demonstrate various circumstances that impact their ability to study, including financial hardship, disability, personal difficulties, geographic relocation, or coming from under-represented backgrounds. The scholarship particularly aims to support students in gender under-represented programs within STEM disciplines.
