Susan Hershey Memorial Scholarship (Place-Based Programs)

The Susan Hershey Memorial Scholarship commemorates the life of Susan Hershey who loved Mexico – especially its people, culture, and landscapes. This scholarship is offered by Child Family Health International (CFHI), an organization that has been impacting the perspective and Global Health expertise of trainees and young professionals for over 25 years. Through this scholarship, Susan's love of Mexico will be carried on by students, young professionals, and the leaders of tomorrow who will develop a deep understanding of Mexico through a cross-cultural experience focusing on innovations in health and wellness. The scholarship is designed to support participants in CFHI's place-based programs in Oaxaca, Mexico, enabling them to gain immersive global health experience while honoring Susan Hershey's legacy.
