About this opportunity

The Susan Jensen Indigenous Award in Science is awarded to students who are First Nation, Inuit, or MΓ©tis peoples of Canada in accordance with the Constitution Act, 1982, Part 2, Section 35(2) with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in any year of an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Science. The award is funded by endowed funds from the Susan Jensen Indigenous Support Fund. Selection is based on academic standing, with preference given to students who have successfully completed the Transition Year Program and/or who are from a rural community. Students are automatically considered for this award based on their completed General Application to the University of Alberta scholarship system.
