About this opportunity
This scholarship is awarded annually to a full-time graduate student registered in the Faculty of Health at the University of Waterloo. The award is based on scholastic excellence and a demonstrated interest in research related to aging and older populations, including Alzheimer's disease and dementia. The scholarship is designed to be awarded in conjunction with major external scholarships that require a matching or enhancement component such as Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS), NSERC, SSHRC, or CIHR, as long as these programs are in effect. If the match or enhancement becomes unavailable or a suitable recipient cannot be found, the funds may be paid out as a regular graduate scholarship. This fund was made possible through donations from Ken Murray and his daughters, Susan Pearce and Leslie Harwood.
