Susan Wakil Scholarships - Postgraduate Greater Sydney

The Susan Wakil Scholarships for Postgraduate Greater Sydney provides financial support to postgraduate nursing students from the Greater Sydney region. Established in 2016 through a generous donation from the Susan and Isaac Wakil Foundation, the scholarship encourages and supports students to undertake postgraduate nursing education at The University of Sydney Susan Wakil School of Nursing and Midwifery. The scholarship provides a total value of $8,625, which includes a one-off payment of $500 in the first semester and per-credit-point tuition fee support over four semesters. Any remaining funds after tuition fees are dispersed as cash payments to the student. Recipients must maintain satisfactory academic performance with a minimum Semester Average Mark of 50 and enroll in at least 12 credit points each semester. The scholarship supports students enrolled in either the Master of Nursing (graduate entry) or Master of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) degree programs.
