Susanne Loven Scholarship

The Susanne Loven Scholarship is awarded annually to support outstanding graduate students in the School of Nursing at the University of Victoria. One scholarship of at least $3,000 is available each year to an academically outstanding PhD student in the School of Nursing, with preference given to students demonstrating financial need. If there are no eligible PhD candidates, the scholarship may be awarded to an academically outstanding Masters student in the School of Nursing, with preference for students with financial need. The award recognizes academic excellence and supports graduate nursing education at UVic. Recipients are nominated by the School of Nursing and approved by the Faculty of Graduate Studies Graduate Awards Committee. No application is required as candidates are nominated directly by their academic unit.
