Sussex Bangladesh Scholarship (Masters)

The Sussex Bangladesh Scholarship is a tuition fee reduction award for Masters students who are nationals of Bangladesh and classified as 'Overseas' for fee purposes. This scholarship provides £4,000 towards tuition fees for students starting eligible Masters degree programs at the University of Sussex in September 2026. The scholarship is automatically applied to eligible applicants and does not require a separate application. It is awarded as a tuition fee reduction for each year of full-time study. Students must be self-financing to receive the scholarship, meaning those whose tuition fees are fully sponsored by an employer or other funding provider are not eligible. The scholarship excludes certain programs including certificates, diplomas, courses at Brighton and Sussex Medical School, various Development Studies programs, online courses, and degrees funded by research councils. Dual nationals may be required to provide evidence of Bangladeshi nationality for both the scholarship and visa application processes. Confirmation of the scholarship is sent by email after receiving an offer of admission, and the scholarship information is included in the Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) for visa application purposes.
